I am trying to select a site for my first hives. How far apart should the hives be? Is there a minimum distance?
Thanks,
Alan
We’re new to beekeeping, but we were told by ?? (can’t recall ) that it would be nice if the hives were spaced 6′ apart. So, this is what we’ve done…
However, it’s apparently not necessary as I’ve seen hives one right next to the other on the same long bench stand, pallet or blocks….
